DIY light box photo

I've got a problem with my shots, when I'm having a white background it gets bluish... My light wattage is 18W and 20W, approximately 100watt equivalent, but it's not enough, or is it? I also think I didn't expose it very well. But I noticed this when I opened the photos in my laptop. Looking it in the camera, perfectly looked white to me though, I felt like I got THE SHOT hehe. I wear eyeglasses by the way, it's been 3 years since I last got a check-up, hmmmmm I'll take a visit one of these days.

You can see the bluish thing at the top

It’s most obvious in this photos below.

BTW, I just used my lamp shade as the holder and bought the 100W equivalent lights.

Here’s the box in my room (The room is very untidy, i know i know hehe)

I sometimes have it in our living room where it’s a little breezy than my sauna-inspired room during the afternoon :-)

What do you think? I need more practice and hope I can come up with techniques.

  1. I think the photos are toooooo small, you can't distinguish the bluish thing I mentioned. I think this is the case when I saw it in the camera, it's too small, it got me to think I have it all white with the background... Anyway, I have a larger version of the photos at facebook. I'll put the link
